CDL Hazmat Delivery Driver — $30/hr, Home Daily

Our company is looking for a CDL driver with hazmat endorsement to deliver packaged gases and welding supplies to local customers near Geismar, LA. You'll be the main point of contact for customer accounts, handling deliveries, order processing, and safety compliance while working a Monday-Friday day shift and returning home every night.

Pay

• $30.00 per hour

• Quarterly bonus potential

Home time

• Home daily, Monday through Friday day shift

What you'll haul

• Packaged industrial, medical and specialty gas cylinders

• Welding hard goods and related supplies

• Hazardous cargo requiring hazmat handling

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary customer contact for gas deliveries and safety needs

• Manage order processing, invoicing and error resolution

• Track cylinder barcodes and maintain handheld equipment

• Load and unload cylinders and supplies

• Help out at the local branch with warehouse and yard work 1-2 days a week

• Support e-commerce, EDI and EFT ordering systems and generate compliance reports

Requirements

• Valid Louisiana commercial driver's license and medical card

• Hazmat and airbrake certifications

• At least 1 year of Class A or B driving experience in the past 5 years, or a recent grad from a driving school within the last 12 months

• Clean driving record (no more than 2 violations or at-fault accidents in 3 years, combination limits apply)

• Minimum age 21

• Able to read safety data sheets and lift 25-75 lbs regularly, up to 125+ lbs with equipment

• Comfortable handling hazardous cargo for shifts up to 8 hours

• Forklift or Moffett experience is a plus
