About this job
This is a fuel delivery driving role for a construction company. You'll haul and dispense fuel to job sites and equipment, and also handle routine lubrication tasks on construction machinery. It's a physically demanding, safety-sensitive position working outdoors in active construction zones.
What you'll do
- Drive a fuel truck to job sites and safely dispense diesel, gas, or other fuel
- Handle heavy hoses (40-50+ lbs) repeatedly through your shift
- Grease and lubricate moving parts on construction equipment
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Complete fuel logs, delivery tickets, and inspection paperwork
- Follow spill-prevention and emergency procedures
Requirements
- Valid CDL, Class A or B depending on fleet needs
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- Able to pass DOT physical, drug/alcohol screening, and background check
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs, climb on/under equipment, and work in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of fuel handling and lubrication procedures
