CDL Fuel Transport Driver — Valdez, AK — 2 Weeks On/2 Weeks Off

Our company, Inc. needs a Transport CDL Driver in Valdez, Alaska to haul bulk fuel from the Valdez Refinery to VPT. This full-time role runs on a rotational schedule, 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, subject to change.

What you'll haul

• Bulk fuel using doubles (A-trains) and single trailers

• Routes between the Valdez Refinery and VPT

• Work alongside Fuel Facility Operators in all weather, including ice and snow (tire chains required)

What you'll do

• Complete careful pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep accurate paperwork

• Stay in close contact with dispatch and your team

• Get in and out of the truck often, connect load arms at terminals, and adjust to shifting schedules

• Work safely as part of a team, taking ownership of the job

Requirements

• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience; loop haul or fuel hauling experience a plus

• Valid CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles endorsements (2 years doubles experience preferred)

• Clean driving record

• Able to work in Arctic conditions with strong communication and teamwork skills

• Must pass a DOT drug screen, physical exam, background check, FMCSA Clearinghouse check, and MVR review

• A plus if you have Arctic driving experience, know Microsoft Office, or have hauled overlength trailers

• Preference may go to drivers already based in Alaska or nearby, or who can meet the schedule without major relocation
