Our company in Anaheim, CA 92801 needs a CDL driver to run a tractor-trailer or a truck of at least 26,000 lbs GVW, hauling products and materials and helping unload them at job sites.
What you'll do
- Check the truck's mechanics, safety gear and emergency equipment before heading out
- Line up the vehicle for loading and unloading as directed by the crew
- Verify your route and delivery details before each run
- Track your hours and vehicle maintenance to stay compliant with state and federal rules
- Flag any damage, defects or accidents right away
- Strap, chain, block or cover cargo so it travels securely
- Pull into weigh stations when required
- Get signatures or collect payment at drop-off when the job calls for it
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clean current motor vehicle record
- 1-3 years of relevant driving experience
- Comfortable lifting as much as 50 lbs and staying out overnight on a regular basis
