About this job
Our company in Superior, NE needs a CDL delivery driver to haul bulk chemical and fertilizer between the facility and customer sites. This is full-time local work, so you'll be back home every night.
What you'll haul
- Company trucks carrying bulk fertilizer and chemical products to sprayer and fertilizer orders
- Product pickups and deliveries for customers as needed
What you'll do
- Load and unload trailers using a forklift or hand truck
- Help load and unload bulk materials safely and efficiently
- Follow safety precautions around hazardous products
- Keep accurate records as required by the company and by government rules
- Clean and maintain your equipment
- Handle other tasks as assigned
Schedule
- Full-time, 40+ hours per week
- Expect longer days and overtime pay during the busy season
- No long-haul routes or nights away from home
Requirements
- CDL required; hazmat endorsement preferred
- High school diploma
- Prior driving experience preferred
- A driving record that meets the company's standards
- Must pass DOT physical, medical requirements and a substance abuse screening
- Able to lift or carry up to 50 lbs
