CDL-B Vac Truck/Roll Off Driver — $28–$30/hr, Home Daily

Our company in the Upstate SC area needs a Swing Driver to split time between Vac Truck and Roll Off work, handling industrial cleanups, utility digs and roll off hauling. You'll serve customers 7 days a week as part of a full-service waste and environmental disposal operation.

Pay

• $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience (one section of this posting also lists a $26.00 to $30.00 range)

• Paid weekly

• Overtime at 1.5x your regular rate after 40 hours

• Expected to work at least 40 hours per week

What you'll do

• Run hydrovac equipment, using high-pressure water and vacuum systems to expose utilities and support construction work, including jobs in confined spaces and industrial spill or waste sites

• Set up safety barriers and address hazards before starting work

• Handle physical tasks like shoveling and moving hoses

• Drive a tandem axle, cable hook roll off truck to serve customers, following all company and government rules

• Take on tasks assigned by your supervisor, solve problems on the job, and stay open to coaching

• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and contractors

• Fill out required paperwork and tablet logs each day

• Follow safety procedures at all times

Schedule

• Home daily

• Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends

• Some emergency calls and holiday work may come up

• Year-round work with overtime available

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with tanker endorsement and a clean driving record

• At least 2 years of experience operating a vac truck and/or roll off truck

• No automatic transmission restrictions on your license

• Able to lift 100 lbs

• No more than 3 violations in the past 5 years, no accidents in the past 3 years, and no disqualifications in the past 7 years

• Must pass drug and alcohol screening and meet all FMCSA requirements to drive a commercial vehicle in South Carolina

• Strong work ethic and sense of ownership over your work

• Able to work in the Upstate SC area
