CDL-B Local Delivery Driver — Kailua-Kona, HI

Our company in Kailua-Kona, HI needs a CDL-B driver to run local deliveries, handling cargo containers and pallets from pickup to drop-off.

What you'll do

• Pick up cargo from various cargo services and get it to delivery sites safely and on time

• Secure containers, pallets and loads properly during transport

• Keep track of all cargo received and turn in receipts

• Fill out vehicle reports, trip sheets and other paperwork as you go

• Log your breaks, lunch and route times on the trip sheet

• Collect payment on COD accounts

• Keep your truck clean and report any accidents to your supervisor right away

• Operate a forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks and wagons as needed

• Be ready to work overtime and show up reliably for your shifts

Requirements

• Valid CDL-B license

• Able to drive both Type 3 trucks and CDL-B vehicles

• Forklift certified and proficient

• Comfortable working in cool temperatures

• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently

• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing)

• English proficient enough to talk with the public, read traffic signs, respond to official requests and complete reports

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Produce industry experience a plus

• Must keep your license and PUC certification current
