About this job
Our company is a family-owned national driveaway company moving new and newer straight trucks (dumps, tankers, chassis, refuse trucks, grapples and more) from manufacturers, dealerships, body companies and trucking companies to their destinations. You just drive the truck itself, there's no freight to load or unload. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, OTR Monday through Friday, with drivers needed from the Brooksville, FL dispatch base in the Central Florida Tampa Bay area.
Pay
- Earn up to $2,500+ per week, paid weekly by bank wire
- Annual pay range of $80,000 to $100,000
- Paid detention time if you're held up by breakdowns or other delays
- Quarterly and yearly bonus opportunities, including a quarterly safety bonus
Schedule and home time
- Runs Monday through Friday, OTR
- Home every weekend, with no forced dispatch
- Optional weekend runs available for extra pay
What you'll haul
- New and newer Class B straight trucks being delivered point to point
- No freight, no lifting, no touching cargo
Requirements
- Clean Class B CDL
- At least 4-5 years of recent, verifiable driving experience, including at least 1 year of OTR experience
- Must be based in the Central Florida Tampa Bay area near Brooksville, FL
- Able to travel 100% of the time
