CDL-B Delivery Driver — Home Daily, Avg. $77,792/yr

Penske Logistics is looking for a full-time CDL-B delivery driver in San Jose, CA to run a dedicated route delivering parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. You'll be home every day.

Pay

• Average annual pay of $77,792

• Extra performance incentives possible, up to $10,400 per year

• Driver referral bonus program, up to $5,000 per referral

• Additional safety incentive program

Schedule

• Tuesday through Saturday, home daily

• Dispatch between 2am and 3am

• Typically 40 to 50 hours per week

What you'll haul

• Multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships

• Unloading done by hand using pallet jacks, hand trucks and rolling cages

• You'll scan items as they come off the trailer

Equipment

• Newer trucks maintained by Penske, spec'd for comfort and safety

• Cameras facing both in and out of the cab for added safety

Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL with airbrake endorsement; must be a U.S. resident licensed in your home state

• Able to get or already hold a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card

• At least 1 year of documented commercial driving experience within the past 5 years

• No more than two moving violations or accidents on your 3-year driving record

• English language proficiency, as required under 49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)

• Must pass a background check (employment, education, criminal history) and a drug screening

• Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs, and safely get in and out of the cab and cargo area
