CDL-B Delivery Driver — $30.11/hr

Our company is hiring a CDL-B delivery driver in Hardeeville, SC to get food products to local customers. You'll run routes Monday through Saturday, dispatching between 6:00am and 7:00am, working until all stops are completed.

Pay

• Base rate of $30.11 per hour

• Overtime pay may apply

• Actual pay can vary based on your experience, skills, and other factors

Schedule

• Monday through Saturday

• Dispatch window of 6:00am to 7:00am

• You work until every delivery on your route is done

• Days and hours can shift depending on business needs

What you'll do

• Drive to customer locations and hit your scheduled delivery windows

• Unload product using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand, and place it where the customer wants it

• Confirm each delivery is correct with the customer and get their signature

• Collect payment from customers when needed

• Represent the company well through solid customer service

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip checks on your equipment

Physical demands

• Repeatedly lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling product in the 20 to 80+ lb range throughout your shift

• Working outdoors in all weather, with 10 or more stops per shift

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid CDL-B from your state of residence with required endorsements and DOT qualifications

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience, or 3 months if that experience is in food or beverage delivery

• Manual transmission skills preferred, and may be required at some locations

• Able to read and speak English well enough to hold conversations, understand road signs, respond to official requests, and fill out reports

• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a DOT-mandated database tracking drug and alcohol violations for CDL holders
