CDL-B Delivery Driver — $30.11/hr

Our company in Conway, SC is looking for a CDL-B delivery driver to bring food products to local customers. You'll run a Monday-through-Saturday schedule with one weekday off plus Sunday, starting between 3:00am and 6:00am and working until all stops are completed.

Pay

• Base rate starts at $30.11 per hour

• Overtime pay may apply

• Actual pay can vary based on your experience, skills, and location

Schedule

• Works Monday through Saturday, with Sunday and one additional day off each week

• Dispatch window is 3:00am to 6:00am

• Shift length depends on completing all deliveries

• Days and hours can shift depending on business demands

What you'll do

• Drive a truck to customer sites and hit scheduled delivery windows

• Unload goods using a hand truck, pallet jack, or by hand, placing them where the customer wants them

• Confirm each delivery is correct and get the required signature

• Collect payment from customers where needed

• Represent the company well through strong customer service

• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle checks

Physical demands

• Able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing 20 to 80+ lbs throughout the shift

• Comfortable working outside in all weather, with 10 or more stops per shift

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid CDL Class B from your state of residence, with required endorsements and DOT qualifications

• At least six months of commercial driving experience, or three months if it's in food or beverage delivery

• Manual transmission skills preferred, and may be mandatory depending on location

• Able to read and speak English well enough to understand road signs, communicate with officials, and complete written reports

• Must register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse, a DOT-mandated database tracking CDL holders' drug and alcohol violations (registration info at clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov)
