CDL-A Truck Driver Trainer — Avg. $2,000/Week

Our company is looking for experienced CDL-A drivers ready to mentor new drivers as a Truck Driver Trainer. You'll run OTR routes with a student on board and get paid extra for the work.

Pay

• Mileage pay ranges from $0.45 to $0.63 per mile

• You earn pay for both your miles and your student's miles while training

• An extra $200 per week is added whenever a student rides with you

• Top trainers average about $107,800 a year, or roughly $2,000 a week

• You also get a bonus that matches any production or safety bonus your graduated trainees earn in their first 12 months

Requirements

• Valid Class A license, minimum age 21

• At least 6 months of Class A experience in the last year, or 1 year within the last 5 years

• No more than 1 preventable accident in the past 2 years, and no major accident in the last 5

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years

• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening

• At least 30 days working for Knight already

• A minimum of 60,000 solo miles and one winter season of OTR driving

• Willing to be out on the road for at least 2 weeks at a stretch

• No more than 1 moving violation in the past year, and no more than 1 preventable incident
