About this job
Our company is looking for a Class A truck driver to haul freight on the road, with pay starting from $2,400 a week. You'd handle a mix of equipment and freight types, so variety is part of the job.
Pay
- From $2,400.00 per week
What you'll haul
- Tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
- Occasional specialized freight like refrigerated goods or hazardous materials
Responsibilities
- Drive various commercial trucks safely across assigned routes
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or by hand
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Secure freight properly and handle special cargo with care
- Stay in touch with dispatch about delays, route changes, or truck issues
Requirements
- Proven truck driving experience with a clean driving record
- Comfortable operating manual transmission vehicles
- Solid understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety practices
This is a full-time, on-the-road position.
