CDL-A Truck Driver, Local or OTR — $65K–$95K/Year

Our company is looking for CDL Class A truck drivers out of Fullerton, CA, with both local and over-the-road openings. You'll haul freight safely and on schedule, whether running local delivery routes, short lines through CA/AZ/NV, or long-haul routes to the Central US and East.

Pay

• Local delivery positions pay hourly

• Short Line (CA/AZ/NV) runs pay by mileage plus additional pay

• Long Haul (Central US/East) OTR runs pay by mileage plus additional pay

• In 2025, Short Line and Long Haul drivers earned between $70,000 and $95,000 for the year, depending on how many loads they accepted

• Overall pay range: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

What you'll haul

You'll run tractor-trailers, including manual transmission rigs, handling freight pickup and delivery for local, regional and long-distance routes.

What the job involves

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to stay DOT-compliant and safe on the road

• Following assigned routes and schedules, and keeping delivery paperwork accurate

• Planning your route driving to hit deadlines and save fuel

• Staying in touch with dispatch about delivery progress or any problems on the road

• Keeping your truck clean and well-maintained

• Securing freight and using handling equipment as needed

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license with local driving experience

• Comfortable operating manual transmission tractor-trailers

• Clean driving record showing safe habits and traffic law compliance

• Able to plan efficient routes and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers

• Physically able to secure loads and handle freight equipment
