CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, Starting at $35.42/hr

Our company is hiring a CDL-A truck driver in Gillette, WY to run a daily route pulling doubles and triples, with experienced drivers starting at $35.42/hour and getting home every day.

Home time and schedule

• You'll be home daily

• Shifts run flexible hours, up to 12-14 hours, and can fall on days, nights or weekends

What you'll do

• Drive a tractor-trailer, including doubles and triples configurations

• Load and unload freight

• Interact with customers and help generate sales leads

• Operate a tractor-trailer for as long as 11 straight hours, in any weather, hauling both hazardous and non-hazardous loads

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL

• Clean driving history

• Must have, or be willing to get within 90 days of hire, hazmat, tanker and doubles/triples endorsements

• No failed or refused DOT drug tests in the past 3 years, and must pass a pre-employment screen

• Valid DOT medical card, or ability to pass a company-paid DOT physical

• Able to read and speak English well enough to talk with the public, understand road signs, answer official questions, and fill out reports

• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and over 75 lbs occasionally, pulling a converter dolly (about 128 lbs of force), climbing in and out of the cab, sitting for long stretches, standing and walking on uneven or slick ground, and bending, reaching, twisting or kneeling as needed

Forklift experience and already holding the required endorsements are a plus but not mandatory.
