CDL-A Truck Driver — Home Daily, Starting $29.35/hr

Our company is hiring a CDL-A truck driver in Riviera Beach, FL for a home-daily position running day shift hours. You'll handle tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles and triples, while serving customers and helping load and unload freight.

Pay

• Starting pay is $29.35/hour

• Day shift, Monday through Friday, roughly 8 hours

• Classified as Motor Carrier Act Exempt

Home time

• You'll be home every day

• Schedule can run 12-14 hours depending on the day, covering day, night and weekend shifts as needed

What you'll haul

• Both hazardous and non-hazardous materials

• You may operate doubles and triples combinations

• Driving shifts can run up to 11 hours straight, in all weather conditions

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL

• Clean driving history

• Hazmat, tanker and doubles/triples endorsements required within 90 days of starting (already holding them is a plus)

• Must pass a DOT drug screen, with no failed tests or refusals in the past 3 years

• Valid DOT medical card, or you'll complete a DOT physical paid for by the company

• Able to work flexible hours across different shifts

• Forklift experience is a plus

• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and over 75 lbs occasionally, maneuver a converter dolly (about 128 lbs of pull force), climb in and out of the cab, sit or stand for long stretches, work outdoors in various weather, and perform bending, reaching, climbing and similar movements

• Must be able to read and speak English well enough to talk with the public, understand road signs, respond to official requests, and fill out reports
