CDL-A Truck Driver — Doubles/Triples & Air Brakes Endorsements

Our company in Genesee, ID is looking for a truck driver to haul materials to and from assigned locations. You'll handle the full run, from loading to delivery to paperwork.

What you'll do

• Drive the truck to each destination and keep in touch with your supervisor by phone or radio for delivery instructions

• Write up receipts for loads you pick up and keep your logbook current per state and federal rules

• Load and unload the truck, or help other employees do so

• Secure cargo for transit using blocks and ropes

• Check the truck before and after each trip, covering tires, lights, brakes, fluids, and other equipment, and report any issues to management

• Handle minor roadside fixes like swapping a tire, bulb, chains, or spark plug

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with doubles, triples, and air brakes endorsements

• An associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical program, or six months to a year of related experience/training, or a mix of both

• Able to read and follow safety rules, manuals, and instructions, write basic reports, and communicate clearly with customers or coworkers

• Comfortable with basic math, including rates, ratios, percentages, and reading graphs

• Able to work through routine problems using written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions

• Physically able to sit for extended periods, occasionally stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, or crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds on occasion (regularly up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds)

• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, plus depth perception and focus adjustment

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather and tolerating vibration, moderate noise, and occasional exposure to moving machinery or airborne particles
