About this job
Our company builds roof and floor trusses in Rosamond, CA, and needs a dependable CDL-A driver to haul them out to job sites. You'll be running wide loads from the yard to customer locations while keeping safety and DOT compliance front and center.
Pay
- $25.00 to $32.00 per hour

What you'll haul
- Roof and floor trusses, including wide loads, from the production yard to job sites
Responsibilities
- Inspect your truck before and after each delivery to confirm it's road-ready
- Follow all DOT safety rules and traffic laws
- Map out efficient routes so deliveries arrive on time
- Stay in contact with Production, Scheduling and Site Supervisors throughout the day
- Keep your logs and load paperwork accurate and up to date
- Handle basic upkeep on your vehicle and equipment when needed
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record
- Prior Class A driving experience is a plus
- Solid understanding of DOT rules
- Able to lift as much as 75 lbs and work outdoors in all kinds of weather
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Must be able to commute to Rosamond, CA 93560
