About this job
Our company in Ontario, CA is looking for a dependable CDL-A driver to haul freight on assigned routes. You'll work with flatbed, refrigerated trailers, and tankers, so experience across different trailer types is a plus.
Pay
- $0.60 to $0.65 per mile

What you'll haul
- Flatbed, refrigerated trailer, and tanker freight
- Loading, unloading, and securing cargo as part of the job
What you'll do
- Drive assigned routes safely and get freight delivered on time
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate records of hours, mileage, fuel, and any delays or incidents
- Stay in contact with dispatch about route changes or problems on the road
- Follow traffic laws and company safety policies
- Help train new drivers on safe practices and procedures when needed
Requirements
- Valid CDL with a clean driving record
- Experience driving flatbed, refrigerated trailer, or tanker equipment preferred
- Solid understanding of route planning and freight handling
- Able to safely load and unload cargo
- Strong communication skills with dispatch and coworkers
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
