About this job
Our company needs CDL-A drivers to move brand-new Freightliner trucks from the factory to dealerships and fleet customers nationwide. There's no trailer and no freight to load, just the truck itself, and you fly back to the terminal once the delivery's done. You'll sleep in hotels every night instead of in a sleeper cab.
Pay
- $2,000 - $2,200 a week
- Averages around $2,000 weekly
Home time
- Trips run 2-3 weeks before you head back
- No overnighting at truck stops, the company puts you in a hotel every night
What you'll haul
- You're driving new trucks straight to their destination, no trailers or live loads involved
- Background in flatbed, step deck, heavy haul, open deck, auto haul, or standard OTR work all translate well here
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A
- A minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer experience that can be verified, within the last 3 years
- Comfortable driving manual transmission
- Willing and able to be on the road for stretches of 2-3 weeks
- Doubles/Triples endorsement is a plus
