CDL-A Trainee Driver — Paid OTR Training, Home Every Two Weeks

Our company is bringing on new CDL-A drivers for regional reefer runs across the West. You'll train one-on-one with an experienced mentor, then move into a solo seat hauling refrigerated freight through CA, ID, NV, OR, UT, and WA, home every two weeks.

Training

• While training, you'll earn $850 per week

• Training is paid, OTR, and one-on-one with a mentor

• Once you finish, you're bumped straight up to full solo mileage pay

• You need at least 120 hours from an accredited CDL school to begin

Pay

• Drivers typically bring home $1,200 to $1,500 a week

• Mileage pay starts at $0.51 cpm

• Your pay is guaranteed for the first 3 months after you go solo

• There's a monthly bonus tied to performance

• You get $15 for each stop

What you'll haul

• Reefer trailers on regional lanes through CA, ID, NV, OR, UT, and WA

• Expect 1,900 to 2,100 miles each week

• No touch freight, loading and unloading isn't on you

Home time

• You're home every two weeks

• Dispatch runs both day and night

• Weekend driving is part of the job, and you may work some holidays depending on staffing

Requirements

• Brand-new CDL-A holders are fine, or you can have 6+ months of verifiable solo experience

• Teams and owner operators can apply too

• You need a valid Class A CDL, a current DOT medical card, and be at least 21

• Your driving record and background check need to come back clean

• Hair and urine drug screens are required
