CDL-A Trainee Driver — $1,000/Week Guaranteed After Training

Fresh out of CDL school? This program gets you into a paid, mentored training stretch before moving you into a solo seat with guaranteed weekly income. You'll train with a dedicated mentor, then run OTR freight east of I-35 with no NYC routes.

Pay

• Weekly direct deposit every Friday during training, paired with your mentor

• $300 paid orientation, with travel and lodging covered by the company

• Once solo, your first 3 months come with a $1,000/week pay floor

• Typical solo gross runs $1,300-$1,500/week, with top drivers hitting $1,750+

• Expect 2,200-2,800 miles weekly as a solo driver

• Full pay rates kick in right away once you're running solo

Training

• 4 to 6 weeks riding with an experienced trainer, gaining real OTR miles

• Structured, one-on-one mentorship built to prepare you for solo dispatch

Home time

• Solo schedule runs 12 days out, 2 days home

What you'll haul

• Dry van freight, entirely no-touch

• About 70% drop-and-hook, 30% live load/unload

• Routes stay east of I-35; New York City and its boroughs are never part of the run

Equipment

• 2022 or newer automatic Freightliner or Kenworth, APU-equipped for rest breaks

• Your truck is yours alone once you go solo, no slip-seating, with take-home options

• Riders and pets are welcome on board after you finish training

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A, minimum age 21

• At least 120 hours of training from an accredited CDL school, with completion certificate

• Steady work history and a clean driving and background record

• Current DOT medical card and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
