About this job
Illini Logistics is looking for an independent contractor with a Class A license to run a dedicated route between Rock Island, IL and Grand Island, NE. This is a 1099 contractor position with set routes and daily home time.
Routes and freight
- Route runs from Rock Island, IL to Grand Island, NE
- Schedule is Monday through Friday, overnight
- Loads include industrial, agricultural, and automotive parts
- No loading or unloading required
- Routes are consistent and recurring with established customers
Pay
- Daily contract rate of $330 to $350 (wage range listed as $320.00 to $350.00 per day)
- Settlements paid weekly by direct deposit
- Rates and agreement terms are straightforward and transparent
Home time
- Home daily
Requirements
- Valid Class A license
- Current DOT medical card
- At least 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must follow all customer delivery and safety standards while completing routes safely and on time
