CDL-A Team Driver — FedEx Ground Linehaul — Approx. $2,100+/Week

This is a team OTR linehaul position hauling FedEx Ground freight between terminals, based out of Kansas City, MO. You'll run steady, year-round miles on modern trucks with support from dispatch around the clock.

Pay

• Starting rate of $0.80 CPM per driver

• Drivers typically bring in approximately $2,100+ per week each

• Expect to average 2,500+ miles weekly per driver

• FedEx Ground linehaul freight, running terminal-to-terminal

• Loads are 100% no-touch

• Drop-and-hook setups

Home time

Time at home varies by the specific route you're assigned. Both existing driving teams and solo drivers looking for a partner are welcome to apply — if you need a teammate, the company may be able to help pair you up.

Equipment

You'll drive Volvo 860 trucks equipped with an inverter, fridge, GPS, bunk heater and A/C. The fleet is kept in good working condition.

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL

• Doubles/Triples endorsement

• At least 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years, or 5 years of experience within the last 10 years

• A clean driving history with no major violations

• Valid DOT medical card

• Ability to meet FedEx Ground's qualification standards

• Successful completion of a background check and employment verification

• Must pass a drug test

Having previous FedEx Ground experience or an active FedEx badge is a plus, though not required.

What you'll be doing

You'll work alongside your teammate to safely run your assigned linehaul routes, following DOT and company safety rules. This includes doing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keeping your truck clean and well-maintained, and staying in touch with dispatch as needed.
