CDL-A Team Driver — $1.00/Mile, $5,000 Sign-On, FedEx Linehaul

Our company is hiring Class A CDL drivers for FedEx Ground linehaul runs out of Binghamton, NY. Both an unassigned team run and a dedicated solo night run are open now, with sign-on bonuses and newer equipment.

Positions available

• Unassigned Team CDL-A Driver: Tuesday-Saturday schedule, $1.00 per mile, $5,000 sign-on bonus, runs on 2024 trucks out of the Binghamton, NY terminal

• Dedicated PM Solo CDL-A Driver: local run Sunday-Friday, starting around 9:30 PM with typical hours of about 9:00 PM-9:00 AM, roughly 2,000 miles a week, running Binghamton, NY - Woodbridge, NJ - Binghamton, NY, home every day, $5,000 sign-on bonus

Pay

• $1.00 per mile for the team opportunity

• $5,000 sign-on bonus

• Paid weekly

• Mileage pay varies by position

Home time

• Solo PM run: home daily

• Team run: about a week home after each scheduled work stretch, depending on operations

What you'll haul

• FedEx Ground linehaul freight, drop-and-hook and no-touch

• Tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles on applicable runs

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years

• Doubles/Triples endorsement required or willingness to get one

• Clean driving record: no accidents or tickets in the past 3 years

• Must pass a background check, MVR screening, FMCSA Clearinghouse check, and drug test

• Active FedEx badge preferred for the team position

• Team drivers need to be ready to start right away

• Comfortable following dispatch instructions, completing training, and keeping accurate logs

What the job involves

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections each day

• Handling drop-and-hook and no-touch freight

• Keeping required paperwork and driver logs up to date

• Staying in touch with dispatch on delays, arrivals, and equipment problems

• Following DOT rules and company policy
