About this job
Our company needs full-time CDL-A drivers in Clear Lake, Iowa (IA) to haul liquid eggs in tank trailers for a dedicated account. You'll run newer Freightliner trucks on no-touch, drop-and-hook freight, and you'll typically be home every night.
Pay
- $88,000 per year, paid weekly
- Base rate of $0.67 per mile
- $10 per drop-and-hook
- Extra $0.03 per mile if you work the Friday-Tuesday schedule
- If you have to lay over overnight, you're paid for your 10-hour break
Home time
- Home most nights, with shifts starting between 1 PM and 3 PM
- Choose from Tuesday-Saturday, Sunday-Thursday, Thursday-Monday, or Friday-Tuesday schedules
What you'll haul
- Liquid eggs moved between locations in tank trailers
- Freight is fully no-touch and drop-and-hook
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a Tank endorsement
- At least 9 months of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Current DOT Medical card
- Must be available to work weekends
- SAP drivers will not be considered
- Dependable and committed to safe driving
