About this job
Solo OTR driving job hauling freight for Forward Air between terminals using drop-and-hook operations. The fleet is leased to Forward Air, which is not the direct employer for this role.
Pay
- $0.65 per loaded mile
- Typical weekly earnings run $1,400–$1,600, though actual pay depends on loaded miles and isn't guaranteed
- Paid weekly by direct deposit
- $2,000 sign-on bonus
- Company fuel card provided
Home time
- You earn one day home for every week on the road
- Staying out at least 21 days earns you 3 days home
Equipment
- 2025 Freightliner with automatic transmission
- 72-inch sleeper
- Refrigerator and microwave onboard
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 6 months of OTR tractor-trailer experience
- Minimum age 23
- Clean MVR and background check
- Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
- DMV Self-Certification must be set to "Non-Excepted Interstate"
