CDL-A Shuttle Driver — $33.54–$34.38/hr, 4-Day Work Week

Our company in Hardeeville, SC is looking for a Shuttle Driver to move trucks between remote dispatch sites on a set overnight schedule. You'll work a 4-day week with one trip per day.

Pay

• Base rate between $33.54 and $34.38 per hour, depending on experience, skills and other factors

• Overtime pay may apply

Schedule

• 4-day work week: Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday

• Dispatch around 6:30pm, working until the trip is complete (roughly 10-14 hours per day)

• One trip per day

• Days and hours can change depending on business needs

• Overnight work required

What you'll do

• Drive trucks safely to and from remote dispatch locations

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment checks

• May occasionally cover Backhaul or Delivery Driver duties

• Be ready to drive and work in bad weather

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid CDL Class A from your state of residence with required endorsements and DOT qualifications

• 6 months of commercial driving experience

• Doubles endorsement required; 6 months of experience driving with doubles preferred

• Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse (required by the Department of Transportation for all CDL/CLP holders)

• English proficiency needed to read road signs, communicate with officials, and complete reports

• Manual transmission skills preferred, and may be required at some locations
