CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Up to $110,000/Year, Weekly Home Time

Our company is hiring a regional CDL-A truck driver out of Red Bluff, CA. You'll run regional routes, get home every week with consecutive days off, and haul no-touch freight.

Pay

Regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year. Pay is a fixed per-mile rate plus activity pay for certain tasks like hooking, live loads/unloads, layovers, and weekend miles; some activities pay activity pay only (breakdowns, weather delays, wait time, and similar). For this regional position, the mileage rate runs $0.5965 to $0.6415 per mile, with average annual miles between 22,806 and 183,725 (actual pay depends on location and miles driven). You'll also get quarterly safety bonuses and annual raises. Average Daily Pay of $240/day applies for things like PTO, safety days, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty.

Home time

You're home weekly, with consecutive days off built into your schedule.

What you'll haul

Freight is no-touch, so you won't be loading or unloading by hand.

What you'll do

You'll plan your route, coordinate with your team to keep freight on schedule, and communicate and problem-solve as situations come up. You're responsible for accurate logs and paperwork, pre- and post-trip inspections, and following all DOT, state, and company rules. You'll drive efficient routes that follow traffic laws and local restrictions to support on-time delivery, while keeping safety and professionalism a priority.

Requirements

• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (cleared background check), or willingness to obtain it within 120 days of hire

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer experience in the past 3 years (or completion of the our company Fleet Development Academy)

• No more than 2 moving violations in a personal or commercial vehicle in the last 3 years

• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years

• No preventable accidents in the last 3 years

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents (disabling damage or injury requiring treatment away from the scene) in the last 10 years

• No preventable accident involving a fatality or catastrophic injury on your record

• Must live within 250 miles of the Red Bluff, CA facility, or be willing to relocate within 250 miles within 90 days of hire

Accident preventability is assessed using ATA Guidelines.
