CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Up to $110,000/Year, Weekly Home Time

Our company's private fleet is hiring a Class A CDL regional truck driver based out of Ottawa, KS. You'll run no-touch freight on a predictable schedule with weekly home time, and get paid for more than just the miles you drive.

Pay

• Mileage rate of $0.55-$0.69 per mile, with average annual miles ranging from 62,355 to 196,040

• Regional drivers can earn up to $110,000 in their first year

• Beyond mileage pay, you're compensated for specific tasks: some activities pay mileage rate plus an activity rate (arrive/arrive drop, bridge pay, chaining up, evening shift premium, hooking, live loading or unloading, layovers, stop/stop drops, regional pay, and weekend mileage), while others pay activity rate only (accidents, breakdowns, weather or road closures, cleaning a rejected trailer, no tractor available, going over 70 hours, snow removal, undocking trailers, trailer weight issues, and wait time)

• You may also get Average Day's Pay (ADP) of $240 for full scheduled our company event days (8+ hours), including things like PTO, safety days, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty - paid on top of other earnings after the event

• Quarterly safety bonuses and annual raises

• Up to four paid safety days per year

• Actual pay depends on your location and miles driven

Home time

• Weekly home time with consecutive days off each week

What you'll haul

• No-touch freight deliveries on optimized routes, following traffic laws and local restrictions to stay on schedule

What you'll do

• Plan your day, coordinate with your team, and keep freight moving safely and on time

• Communicate well, troubleshoot issues on the road, and adjust as plans change

• Complete paperwork and electronic logs correctly per DOT, state, and company rules

• Inspect your tractor-trailer before, during, and after trips, and operate it safely

Requirements

• Class A CDL valid for interstate driving, with a Hazmat endorsement (passed background check) already in hand, or obtained within 120 days of hire

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer driving experience in the past 3 years, or completion of the our company Fleet Development Academy Program

• No more than 2 moving violations in a personal or commercial vehicle over the last 3 years

• No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years

• No preventable collisions in the last 3 years

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents (disabling damage or injuries requiring treatment away from the scene) in the last 10 years

• No history of a preventable accident causing a fatality or catastrophic injury

• Must live within 250 miles of the Ottawa, KS facility, or be willing to relocate within that radius within 90 days of hire
