CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — Up to $110,000 First Year, Weekly Home Time

Our company is hiring regional CDL-A truck drivers out of its North Highlands, CA facility. You'll run no-touch freight on a regional schedule with consistent days off and strong pay potential.

Pay

• First-year regional drivers can earn up to $110,000.

• You're paid a fixed per-mile rate plus activity pay for certain tasks; some activities pay mileage plus activity pay, others pay activity pay only.

• Regional mileage rate: $0.5965 to $0.6415 per mile, with average annual miles ranging from 22,806 to 183,725 (pay may vary by location and actual miles driven).

• Extra pay applies for things like hooking, live loading or unloading, layovers, bridge pay, chaining, weekend miles, evening shift premium, and stop activities.

• Activity-only pay covers situations like breakdowns, weather closures, rejected trailer cleaning, no tractor available, running out of hours, snow removal, and wait time.

• Average Day's Pay (ADP) of $240 per day applies for things like PTO, safety days, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty.

• Quarterly safety bonuses and annual raises are part of the package.

Home time

• Weekly home time with consecutive days off every week.

What you'll haul

• No-touch freight deliveries.

• You'll plan your route, coordinate with your team, keep accurate paperwork and e-logs, and follow DOT and company rules.

• You're responsible for pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of your tractor-trailer.

• You'll choose efficient routes that follow traffic laws and local restrictions to support on-time delivery.

Requirements

• Class A CDL valid for interstate driving, with a Hazmat endorsement already in hand (background check cleared) or obtained within 120 days of hire.

• At least 30 months of full-time Class A tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 3 years, or completion of the our company Fleet Development Academy Program.

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years, in a personal or commercial vehicle.

• No serious traffic violations in the past 3 years.

• No preventable collisions in the past 3 years.

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents (disabling damage or injuries requiring treatment away from the scene) in the past 10 years.

• No preventable accident causing a fatality or catastrophic injury anywhere in your driving history.

• Preventability is determined by our company using ATA guidelines.

• You must live within 250 miles of the assigned facility (4775 Forcum Ave., McClellan Park, CA 95652-2030) or be willing to relocate within that radius within 90 days of hire.
