About this job
Our company in Lincoln, NE needs a CDL-A truck driver to haul materials within a 500 mile radius of Omaha. You'll be home every night and work full time, independently handling deliveries and the paperwork that comes with them.
Pay
- $27.00 to $29.00 per hour, based on experience and driving record
- Expected hours: 30 to 40 per week

What you'll haul
- Materials and raw materials transported to and from designated locations within 500 miles of Omaha
What you'll do
- Plan routes and keep deliveries on schedule
- Run pre-trip inspections to confirm your truck is road-ready
- Log hours of service, miles driven and fuel used
- Maneuver the truck for loading and unloading, and confirm delivery details
- Follow DOT rules and company procedures
- Deal professionally with customers and the public
- Keep the company truck maintained per company policy
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience driving truck
- Comfortable with long hours and frequent travel
- Familiar with DOT regulations
- Able to adapt to changing conditions like traffic and weather
- Able to sit and stay focused through long drives
- Able to operate a manual transmission and foot pedals
- Able to walk, bend, reach, pull, stoop, squat and climb as needed for inspections
