About this job
Our company is hiring a Class A Driver to haul freight safely and on schedule across the region. You'll work independently, handling your own routes while keeping accurate records and a well-maintained truck.
What you'll do
- Drive a Class A commercial vehicle safely, following traffic laws and regulations
- Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report issues
- Deliver freight according to assigned routes and schedules
- Secure cargo properly to avoid damage during transit
- Keep accurate delivery confirmations and log records
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Able to meet all regulatory requirements for operating a commercial vehicle
- Safe driving record and safety-first approach
- Reliable with assigned routes and schedules
- Able to help with loading/unloading and inspections as needed
- Valid US work authorization; US citizens or Green Card holders preferred
Preferred: experience hauling freight in time-sensitive conditions, familiarity with DOT and hours-of-service rules, good communication with dispatch and customers, defensive driving experience, and a record of on-time, professional deliveries.
