CDL-A Regional Truck Driver — $80,000–$110,000/yr, Home 4 Nights/Week

Our company has built post-frame structures for 120 years and runs manufacturing and shipping plants across the country. As a regional driver, you'll haul completed building materials from the plant to customer job sites and get them unloaded and staged safely and efficiently.

What you'll do

• Plan deliveries around DOT hours-of-service rules

• Inspect your truck and cargo before each trip

• Coordinate with the Shipping Supervisor and Traffic Manager on load or schedule changes

• Flag equipment problems to Maintenance before they become bigger issues

• Support construction centers and crews, and pitch in with other plants moving materials or covering deliveries when needed

• Mentor newer drivers on the team

• Stay focused on safety, efficiency and cost control, and keep communication open with the Traffic Manager

• Keep a customer-first mindset around quality and on-time delivery

Pay

• $80,000 to $110,000 per year

• Meal money provided

Home time

• Most drivers are home at least 4 nights a week

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with Air Brake Endorsement

• Willing to travel overnight when needed

• Able to lift 50-75 lbs

• Solid understanding of DOT rules and a clean compliance record

• Clean, safe driving history

• Strong written and verbal communication

• Comfortable driving long stretches and working at unload sites in all kinds of weather

• A team player who brings a positive, safety-first attitude and pushes for continuous improvement
