About this job
Our company is hiring a CDL-A driver for a regional route with occasional overnight layovers. You'll haul curtain-side trailers for this 100% employee-owned building materials supply company based in Marysville, CA.
Pay
- Starting at $29.50 per hour
- Safety and performance bonus up to $2,000 a year, with eligibility starting the quarter after you're hired
- $20 per diem for every overnight stay, plus hotel costs covered
Route and schedule
- Regional route with some overnight layovers
- Stick to your assigned route and keep deliveries on schedule
- Keep accurate logs of your hours and deliveries, and follow rest rules
What you'll haul
- Curtain-side trailers, with trucks running up to 80,000 lbs GVW
- You'll secure loads properly, confirm shipment contents against the manifest, and get signatures or scans to verify completed deliveries
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- Clean MVR per company standards
- Pass a company-paid DOT physical and drug screen after your offer
- Knowledge of DOT and ICC rules, and safe driving in all road and weather conditions
