About this job
Smart Logistics Group is looking for CDL-A drivers for regional routes in Tracy, CA. Both new CDL-A graduates and experienced drivers are welcome. You'll run regional freight with weekly home time and newer trucks.
Pay
- $0.55 to $0.85 per mile, depending on experience: newer drivers start around $0.55 CPM, while experienced drivers can earn up to $0.85 CPM.
Home time
- You'll be home every week.
Routes
- Regional operation, not over-the-road.
- Steady freight with dependable mileage.
Equipment
- Newer, late-model tractors.
What you'll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer safely under federal, state and company rules.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and flag any maintenance issues.
- Keep accurate logs under Hours of Service rules.
- Deliver on your assigned regional routes and meet customer schedules.
- Stay in contact with dispatch and follow routing and safety guidance.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license.
- Legally able to drive commercial vehicles in the United States.
- Safety-focused and professional on the road.
- Open to running regional routes with weekly home time.
