About this job
Smart Logistics Group is looking for CDL-A drivers for regional routes. Both new CDL-A graduates and experienced drivers are welcome to apply, with newer trucks and weekly home time on offer.
Pay
- Earn $0.55-$0.85 CPM, with entry-level drivers starting at the lower end and experienced drivers earning up to $0.85 CPM.
Home time
- You'll be home every week.
Routes
- Regional operations, not OTR.
- Steady, dependable freight and consistent miles.
Equipment
- You'll run brand-new, modern tractors.
What you'll do
- Drive your tractor-trailer safely under federal, state, and company rules.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and flag any maintenance issues.
- Keep accurate logs under Hours of Service rules and company policy.
- Move freight on your assigned regional routes, meeting customer and schedule needs.
- Stay in professional contact with dispatch and follow routing and safety guidance.
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license.
- Authorized to drive commercial vehicles in the United States.
- A safety-focused, professional approach to the job.
- Ready to run regional routes with weekly home time.
