CDL-A Reefer Driver — Home Every Other Day, $1,200–$1,300/Week

Run refrigerated trailers on night routes out of Cocoa Beach, FL, delivering to retail stores across Central Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. You'll be on a slip-seat setup with a 34-hour restart, giving you a day off between shifts.

Schedule

• Night shift, starting between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM

• Driving mostly overnight, typically 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM

• Home every other day thanks to the 34-hour restart

• Weekly layovers are part of the routine

• Weekend and holiday shifts are required

Pay

• Weekly earnings typically range from $1,200 to $1,300

• Pay comes from a mix of per-load pay, mileage pay and stop pay

• Stop pay is $10 per stop

• Swift Driver Performance Bonus available

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated trailers (reefer freight)

• Consistent reefer loads

• You'll handle live unloads at customer sites

• Expect to cover 1,600 to 2,400 miles per week

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Open to recent CDL school graduates as well as experienced drivers

• Reefer experience is a plus, not mandatory

• Comfortable with slip-seating

• Able to work nights, weekends and holidays

• Must pass a DOT drug test and a road test
