CDL-A Private Fleet Driver — $28–$33/hr

Our company is hiring a full-time CDL-A driver to haul raw materials and finished windows and doors between plants, consolidation points and customers. You'll run a tandem tractor-trailer on both day and night schedules, so flexibility around delivery timing is important.

Pay

• $28.00 to $33.00 per hour

What you'll haul

• Raw materials supporting window and door production

• Finished goods moving to consolidation points or directly to customers

• Pickups and deliveries from vendors on an as-needed and scheduled basis

Schedule

• Routes are assigned by the Corporate Logistics Load Planning team

• Expect a mix of day and night driving depending on production and delivery needs

• Be ready for extended time on the road, which varies by route

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, minimum age 21

• About 1 year of OTR experience is preferred

• No more than 3 moving violations (commercial or personal vehicle) in the past 3 years, and a clean driving history overall

• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screening, and hold a current Medical Examiner's Certificate

• Only one valid CDL permitted

• Comfortable with ELDs for logging hours and familiar with FMCSA rules

• Able to read maps, shipment paperwork and basic performance reports

• Experience driving in major metro areas is a plus

• Basic computer skills preferred

• Must be able to perform pre- and post-trip inspections, secure freight properly, and occasionally lift over 50 pounds
