CDL-A OTR Van Truckload Driver — Avg. $995–$1,215/wk, Fly to Routes

Haul van truckload freight over the road across the Eastern 37 states, flying to and from your routes instead of driving home each time. Freight is dispatched ahead of schedule so you can plan your time, and most loads are drop-and-hook with little to no touch freight.

Pay

• Average weekly earnings range from $995 to $1,215.

• You're paid by the mile plus an hourly rate for on-duty, non-driving time.

• New drivers get a weekly guarantee of at least $1,000 during their first 90 days.

• Weekly performance-based pay is also available.

• Experienced drivers receive a $6,000 sign-on bonus, paid monthly over your first year.

• New drivers receive a $3,000 sign-on bonus, paid monthly over your first year.

• Orientation is paid.

• An annual bonus of up to 2% of your yearly gross pay is available.

Home time

You're out for about a month at a time between home stays, with flights covering your travel to and from your routes. Any frequent flyer miles earned on these company-paid flights are yours to keep.

What you'll haul

Expect steady, high-volume freight on established lanes within the Eastern 37 states. About 95% of loads are no-touch, mostly drop-and-hook, which keeps your drive time high and downtime low.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.

• HazMat endorsement is preferred but not required.

• A Passport, FAST card or Enhanced CDL will open up more route options.

• You'll need to be comfortable flying, with a REAL ID-compliant license or valid passport.

• Open to all CDL holders, including those without experience.
