About this job

Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers for USPS, dedicated, local, regional, and OTR routes. Whatever your experience level, from brand-new license holders to seasoned OTR pros, there's likely a spot that fits, based on your ZIP code, experience, and home-time preference.

Available roles and pay

  • Trainee (under 3 months Class A experience): approximately $700 weekly, paid training available, built for recent CDL grads
  • Local (3+ months experience): approximately $1,400 weekly, home daily, steady local routes, some dedicated accounts
  • Regional (4+ months experience): approximately $1,800 weekly, home every few days or weekly depending on the account, consistent regional lanes, some dedicated freight
  • OTR Dedicated (6+ months experience): approximately $2,300 weekly, dedicated freight, consistent routes, stronger pay but a tougher home-time schedule, hiring nationwide
  • OTR USPS (2+ years experience): approximately $2,300 weekly, USPS contract freight on consistent year-round routes, strong earning potential, hiring from nearly every state and major city

Local and regional slots depend on where you're located, while OTR positions are open across most of the country.

What you'll haul

You'll run USPS contract freight and dedicated account loads, mostly drop-and-hook with little to no loading or unloading. Routes run year-round.

Where you'll drive

Routes stay mainly east of I-35, covering the Midwest, South, and Southeast. No West Coast runs and no New York City.

Equipment

Trucks are 2022-2026 models, kept in good, modern condition. The specific truck you get depends on your account and what's available.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A CDL (trainees may be close to receiving theirs)
  • Experience requirement varies by position: none for trainee, 3 months for local, 4 months for regional, 6 months for OTR dedicated, 2 years for OTR USPS

The hiring carrier's name is shared with you once you apply through the DriverRoll app, where you can message them directly.
