CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — Up to $1,500/Week

Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to run over-the-road routes hauling flatbed and other specialized trailers, including hazardous materials loads. You'll handle freight from pickup to delivery while keeping everything compliant and on schedule.

Pay

• Up to $1,500.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers, with experience in flatbed and other specialized trailer types

• Loads may include hazardous materials and dangerous goods, handled under required safety rules

• Freight that needs careful loading, securing and unloading to avoid damage or safety issues

What the job involves

• Driving OTR and local routes, using GPS to plan the way and stay on time

• Loading and unloading cargo yourself, including securing vehicles or goods for transport

• Running pre-trip and post-trip checks on your truck, trailer and load to catch maintenance or safety problems early

• Keeping accurate logs of miles, deliveries, loading/unloading and other DOT paperwork

• Staying in touch with dispatch and customers to keep deliveries on track and sort out any issues that come up

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record

• Must pass a DOT drug screen

• About 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred, including route and delivery work

• Comfortable with flatbed and other specialized trailers

• Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT rules, plus hazmat handling and safety standards

• Confident driving manual transmission trucks

• Solid GPS and route-planning skills for OTR driving

• Hands-on experience loading, unloading and managing freight

• Safe driving habits with attention to compliance and customer service
