CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — Six Western States Routes

Bonipak Produce, a fourth-generation family produce company based in Santa Maria, CA, needs experienced CDL-A drivers for routes running from Santa Maria into Southern California and across the six western states.

What you'll haul

• 53' refrigerated trailers pulled by automatic Freightliner Cascadia tractors

• Deliveries throughout the six western states, with work based out of Santa Maria, CA and Yuma, AZ

What the job involves

• Operating your truck safely across the assigned region

• Staying in contact with dispatch to coordinate your runs

• Following all traffic laws and commercial vehicle rules

• Doing pre-trip, in-route and post-trip inspections and reporting any mechanical problems

• Keeping your ELD logbook accurate and compliant

• Planning your routes to hit delivery windows

• Handling basic daily truck upkeep like fueling and cleaning

• Treating customers professionally and checking load paperwork for accuracy

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 23 years old

• Minimum 2 years of Class A driving experience

• At least 1 year hauling refrigerated freight

• Clean driving record and background check

• Must pass a DOT drug test

• No DUIs within the last 7 years
