About this job
Our company in Simpsonville, SC needs a full-time OTR tractor-trailer driver for multi-state hauls. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, with weekends off whenever possible.
Pay
- Starts from $0.67 per mile
Home time
- Monday through Friday schedule, with an effort made to get you home each weekend
What you'll haul
- Freight moved by tractor-trailer across long-haul routes in multiple states
- Some loads may involve flatbed or tanker trailers, with manual loading and unloading as needed
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record
- 2-3 years of commercial driving experience, including long-distance routes
- Comfortable driving manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers
- Familiar with GPS routing tools and cargo handling practices
- Solid grasp of DOT and FMCSA rules and safe driving standards
- Physically able to handle manual freight loading and unloading
You'll run pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections, keep accurate logs of hours and deliveries, and follow all safety and hazmat regulations along the way.
