About this job
Our company is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for over-the-road routes out of Los Angeles, CA, with freight tied to Amazon. Both solo and team drivers are needed.
Pay
- Solo drivers: pay is 30% of gross, with weekly earnings ranging from $7,000.00 to $15,000.00
- Team drivers: weekly earnings range from $15,000 to $25,000
What you'll haul
- You'll run long-distance OTR routes, handling freight that may include refrigerated, flatbed, or tanker loads
- Some loads may involve hazardous materials, requiring you to follow all applicable safety rules
Requirements
- CDL Class A with at least 1 year of driving experience
- Solid knowledge of FMCSA and DOT rules
- Comfortable using GPS tools to plan routes and adjust for traffic or weather
- Able to complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report mechanical problems
- Experience securing and handling freight safely, including loading and unloading when needed
- Clean driving record
