About this job
This full-time role is for an over-the-road CDL Class A driver hauling freight across the United States, with trips that keep you out for extended stretches. Freight can include general loads, dedicated lanes, and linehaul work through partner carriers and logistics providers.
Pay
- $6,500.00 - $7,500.00 per month
What you'll haul
- General freight, dedicated lanes, and linehaul loads on nationwide long-haul routes
- Possible recurring or dedicated assignments depending on availability
What you'll do
- Drive a semi-truck safely through multiple states
- Deliver freight on schedule and handle pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep accurate logs, paperwork, and ELD records
- Stay in contact with dispatch about routing, delays, and delivery updates
- Follow DOT rules and company safety standards
- Secure and check loads as needed
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A
- Tractor-trailer experience preferred
- Comfortable being on the road for extended periods across the country
- Clean enough driving record to meet DOT standards
- Able to use ELD and GPS tools
- Reliable, professional, safety-minded
