CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $3,000–$3,200/Week

Our company is looking for a CDL Class A driver for over-the-road hauls across the country. You'll run long-haul routes, handle freight safely, and keep deliveries on schedule while following all federal and state trucking rules.

Pay

• $3,000.00 - $3,200.00 per week

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or specialized loads such as hazmat or vehicle transport freight

• Freight that you may need to load and unload by hand or with equipment, always keeping cargo secured to safety standards

What the job involves

• Driving tractor-trailers on OTR routes in line with DOT and FMCSA rules

• Planning routes with GPS to hit delivery windows across several states

• Doing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks to catch maintenance or safety concerns early

• Keeping accurate records of hours, deliveries and cargo paperwork per DOT requirements

• Staying in touch with dispatch and customers to coordinate schedules and sort out any problems

Requirements

• Solid background driving commercial trucks, ideally with reefer, flatbed, tanker or hazmat experience

• Good grasp of FMCSA, DOT and hazmat rules for moving dangerous goods safely

• Comfortable using GPS tools to plan efficient OTR routes

• Able to load and unload freight by hand or with equipment while keeping it secure

• Clean driving record; manual transmission experience is a plus

• Understanding of cargo handling and documentation practices

• Strong focus on safety checks and following trucking laws
