CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $24–$26/hr

Our company in Lathrop, CA is looking for a CDL-A driver for over-the-road routes. You'll handle a mix of equipment and freight types while keeping safety and compliance front and center.

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, plus refrigerated trailers, flatbeds and tankers

• Freight types can include refrigerated goods, hazmat and dangerous goods, auto transport or tanker loads

• You'll load and unload cargo by hand at times and make sure it's secured properly for the road

What you'll do

• Drive OTR routes while following FMCSA and DOT rules

• Use GPS to stay on route and hit delivery windows

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections to catch maintenance or safety problems early

• Keep accurate logs of hours, deliveries and cargo paperwork

• Stay in touch with dispatch on route changes, delivery status or safety issues

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with real commercial driving experience

• Background in delivery driving, route work and freight handling

• Comfortable with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers and hazmat rules

• Able to load and unload freight manually

• Understands FMCSA regulations, DOT rules and hazard classifications for dangerous goods

• Experience with manual transmissions and GPS navigation

Pay

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
