CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $2,000–$3,500/Week

Our company in Olathe, KS is looking for an experienced CDL-A driver to haul freight over the road. You'll run various equipment types and routes while keeping everything compliant and on schedule.

Pay

• $2,000.00 to $3,500.00 per week

What you'll haul

• You may operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers or refrigerated trailers depending on the load

• Freight includes general logistics cargo as well as hazardous materials, handled under applicable hazmat rules

• Routes include long-distance OTR runs

Requirements

• Valid CDL with a manual transmission endorsement needed; a Hazmat endorsement is a strong plus

• Solid track record driving commercial trucks, ideally with time behind refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers or other specialized rigs

• Comfortable using GPS systems to plan and run routes

• Working knowledge of FMCSA and DOT rules

• Experience loading and unloading freight by hand or with equipment, including hazardous or sensitive materials

• Able to handle manual transmission trucks safely on long OTR hauls

• Driving tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers and reefers safely under FMCSA and DOT rules

• Mapping out efficient delivery routes with GPS

• Loading and unloading cargo, including hazmat, following proper handling steps

• Getting freight to customers on time across OTR and other routes

• Keeping accurate hours-of-service logs and cargo paperwork per FMCSA rules

• Running pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Staying on top of safety rules for manual freight handling and hazardous loads

• Keeping dispatch updated on delivery progress and any route issues
