About this job
Our company is looking for CDL Class A drivers for over-the-road routes, with paid training available for recent graduates.
Pay
- Earn $1,300 to $1,500 per week
- Average weekly miles range from 2,500 to 3,200
Home time
- Expect 2 weeks out on the road followed by 2 days home
Training
- New graduates get paid OTR training alongside a driver mentor, plus paid orientation
What you'll haul
- Run long-haul routes in a Class A tractor trailer, handling freight deliveries on schedule
What you'll do
- Perform all required vehicle inspections
- Keep logs and trip paperwork accurate and up to date
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch and driver managers
Requirements
- At least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL
- CDL school certificate showing a minimum of 120 training hours
- Clean driving and background record
- Able to pass a DOT drug screening
- Drivers with 6 months of OTR or regional experience qualify as experienced drivers
